Privacy Policy

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Which is why we only use your personal information given for providing and improving this website. By using this website, you agree to this privacy policy. If you do not, please discontinue use of this site.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

This website gathers information that your browser sends when you visit our site. This data includes information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (“IP address”), browser information, Internet Service Provider (“ISP”) information, which pages you visit and how long you remain on those pages along with other statistics. We also use third-party services such as Google Analytics to review this data. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

We collect names and email addresses when you opt-in to receive free products and give consent for us to collect your info, when you join our mailing list with your given consent and when you purchase a product. The emails sent from our mailing list include article updates once every two weeks and freebies we create. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. At that time, your name and email will be deleted from our database.

Purchasing a Product

If you purchase a product, your name, email address and billing address will be stored in order to send you the product, but your credit card information is not stored on our site. We use Stripe Payments and PayPal, which may store your credit card info, according to their own terms of service.

You can request to edit or delete your stored information at any time, otherwise it will remain in our database indefinitely (see “Your rights for your data” below).

You will receive a request for review email after your purchase.

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

If you use our contact us form, your name, email and message is required since you are sending us an email. We do not use your information for anything besides responding to your email. Our email provider, Gmail, collects your information according to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

This website uses cookies, which are files with small amounts of data that are sent to and stored on your browser when you visit a website. Cookies simply allow your preferences to save on our website as well as analyze content performance. You can turn off cookies at any time by changing your browser’s settings.

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Linked content from other websites

Articles on this site may include linked content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). If you follow these links, these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that linked content, including tracing your interaction with the linked content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Your rights for your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically. You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes. If you request this information, we will send you a verification email to verify your identity before sending your personal information.

Where we send your data

Except as stated in this Privacy Policy, this website does not share email addresses or any personal information. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

This website uses social sharing buttons. If you choose to click on one of the social sharing buttons, certain personal information may be stored by the service operating that plugin according to their terms of service.

Third-Party Information Collecting and Email Marketing

This website uses Flodesk for our email marketing. When you opt-in for a free resource or for our subscription list, Flodesk stores certain information according to their Privacy Policy. Except as otherwise stated, we do not share your information with third parties without your consent.

We use email marketing to share our article updates and any freebies we create. When you provide your email, we will use it for only the purposes listed to you upon your consent (if you are subscribing for all emails or just a specific freebie). You can unsubscribe at any time. We will not spam you, and we will not share your information with any third parties aside from what has been outlined above.

In case of data breach

If there is a data breach, we will investigate and locate its source, put in place actions to prevent it from occurring again, report the breach to all it affects and notify the Data Commissioner.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please email emily@everydayfaithco.com.
